Technically Creative – Mission Critical’s 2022 Year in Review

Mission Critical continued to work across the US and Canada and expanded our reach into Puerto Rico. Mission Critical’s clients included firms and Joint Ventures representing four Top 10 and over a dozen of the Top 100 Largest US Contractors tracked by Engineering News-Record’s (ENR) annual rankings. We pursued Progressive Design-Build and Public Private Partnership (P3) projects with three of ENR’s 2022 Top 250 International Contractors.

Mission Critical continued to work across the US and Canada and expanded our work into Puerto Rico. In the Western US, we continued our leadership in California with $3.3B in pursuits and have developed an 80% success rate across the State of Oregon. Equally important, our work with strong, regional companies new to the Alternative Project Delivery market continued with Design-Build and Best-Value wins in the Gulf and East Coast.

Competitiveness in the Alternative Project Delivery market continues to increase. Companies wanting to maximize their success, or enter the market new, must recognize that agencies are seeking clear, technical responses that avoid the generalized boilerplate of marketing firms.

Mission Critical continues to see the complexity and value of Alternative Project Delivery pursuits rise in response to increased regulation and market dynamics. The challenges local and state agencies face managing the logistics of aging infrastructure and growing populations have increased exponentially. In tandem, agency procurement times have shortened, and the technical complexity required in pursuits has risen enormously. Competitiveness in the Alternative Project Delivery market also continues to increase. Companies wanting to continue their success, or enter the market new, must recognize that agencies are seeking clear, technical responses that avoid the generalized boilerplate of marketing firms.

In 2012, Mission Critical adopted the tagline “Technically Creative” to communicate our strength in writing, designing, and producing Alternative Project Delivery work that is equally subject-specific, technically articulate, and visually engaging. Now at our 10th Year Anniversary, Mission Critical continues to differentiate our offering as “Technical Specialists,” and we look forward to a solid and successful 2023.
